I didn't get to spend much time with Bernard, but despite this he showed incredible kindness to me during Dad's (Barry's) final weeks and months.  He collected me from the airport (despite the covid risks), helped me to get around and more than once hosted me in his home despite barely knowing me.  He was an incredibly humble man with boundless kindness.  The world is far poorer for his passing but his legacy lives on in his beautiful children, grand children and great grand children.  RIP good sir.
